The Hope Exchange

Mandela Day 2023

If you, your family or your company would like to make a difference – not only for Mandela Day, but every day – please consider partnering up with The Hope Exchange.

We assist the growing numbers of homeless people in Cape Town with holistic social care and services. Our goal is reintegration and/or reunification which we have a record of more than 40 years succeeding in.

We meet our clients without prejudice and work with them on an individual level – assessing their needs and situation. Watch our introduction video to get more insight into what The Hope Exchange does.

What we would love help with:

Toiletries: body soap, razors/shavers, shaving crème, body lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton buds & sanitary towels
Pre-loved and new items: Winter clothing, blankets, shoes etc
Kitchen equipment for our second phase shelter (crockery, plates, pots, kettles, irons, microwaves, toasters, 2 plate stoves)

Grocery hampers for our second phase shelter

Or make a donation to help us assist our homeless clients every day all year around. We would love you to become part of our friends of the cause.

Would you be interested in participating and assisting in any way, we would like to welcome you to our premises at 14A Roeland Street for a small tour. Simply email or WhatsApp Marie (marie@thehopeexchange.org – 0746183995) and she will make the arrangements.
Any questions about donations and/or delivery of such, please use above contact details.
