What are you doing for Madiba Month?
What are you doing with your 67 minutes of giving back, representing the number of years Nelson Mandela stood up for a cause?
How are you contributing to living his legacy and making a difference?
The Hope Exchange has 3 options where we need assistance.

Option 1: Make a financial contribution
Option 2: Donate inkind toward our daily services

Option 3: Make emergency blankets for the homeless
In the convenience of your own office, or at home, you can make emergency blankets for our clients. These are especially helpful during winter to keep them somewhat warmer and dryer.
It’s easy and you can turn it into a fun activity.
Make 67 blankets during the next month. See how many you can make in 67 minutes.
Turn it into a team event with 67 participants or a competition to see which team will hit the 67 mark first. Create a production line, sing songs, put some music on, talk to each other, connect and make a difference
What you need:
- 200 sheets of newspaper
- 2 x 60 micron plastic bags without gussets
- 1 roll of 48mm wide packing tape
- A large flat surface to work on
