I am Vincent, a 33 year old Marine Engineer who spends most of the year on sea. I heard about The Hope Exchange initiative through my wife who signed me up to volunteer during my December break. I am honestly glad that she did as this experience has given me a whole new perspective.
My experience with The Hope Exchange Feed5000 Campaign was a real humbling one. Being able to serve others in need brought joy to my heart. A few hundred people came that day, and to see the gratefulness each individual had, for something as simple as a meal, was PRICELESS.
I’ve left there with a lesson that we should appreciate every moment and also if I can put a smile on someone’s face everyday I can also make a difference.
I want to commend The Hope Exchange for their great works of love and also thank them that I could be a part of their Feed5000 Campaign in 2019 and I look forward to volunteering again.
